No, all consultations and private surgeries we accept are not refunded by the RAMQ. We see RAMQ patients a few times per month as authorized by Santé Québec. We have more flexibility to see patients not covered by RAMQ or when the employer (can be incorporation of patient) will pay the fees on behalf on the patient (Article 22i). Consultations fees might be fully covered by your private insurance.

Second opinion

We receive a lot of requests for second opinions (both in Quebec and out of province). In those cases, especially when imaging is available, we can provide an in-person or virtual consulation. A consulation report will be provided following your first visit with Dr. Thibaudeau that includes a review of medical history, imaging and treatment options.
